Merry New Year...
I don't think I'll ever say Happy New Year. It'll always be Merry New Year being that I've seen "Trading Places" a million and one times. Eddie Murphy and Dan Aykroyd were great in that one. Billy Ray Valentine, Capricorn - and Louis Winthorpe III.

I've played in a few Pro Ams with Paul Gleason, who played Clarence Beeks in the movie - but is best known for his character of Principal Richard Vernon in The Breakfast Club. Either way, he's Beeks to me - and by day's end I have everyone on the course calling him "Beeks."
Sorry for the rant there. The whole point of the blog here was to wish everyone a Merry New Year.
Gonna get back to watching some college football. Lots of games on today.
