Time for a Q&A with Double P

After six straight tourney appearances since January, P.P. is taking this week off to rest up for the Florida swing, beginning March 9th at the Ford Championship at Doral in Miami.

We at PatPerezGolf.com figured this would be a great week to kick off the "Q&A With Double P" section of the site. Come up with your best questions for Pat - be it about his game, his drive, the off season workout, favorite bands, what he does in his spare time, etc. and we'll post the questions and answers in the blog here.

Best question received a signed, worn Pat Perez golf glove from his 2002 rookie season.

Get your questions in this week and we'll post the "Q&A" forum this weekend. Questions must be submitted by Thursday the 23rd.

I have a question. Why does Pat love The Cult so much? Don't get me wrong, they're one of my all time favorite bands. It just doesn't seem that most PGA guys listen to classic rock bands like the Cult. "She Sells Sanctuary" is a classic song - but I also liked when you had "Rain" on the site for a while. Can you put that one back up soon?

Nice web site and logo. From a pure sports marketing perspective, it's very impressive and entertaining. Keep it up! Great job CB and PP...

i was wondering why PGA pros don't try to get sick before tournaments- they seem to score better when they're feeling like crap- does PP always play better when he's sick? (If I remember, he was reported to have food poisoning the day before the 60 at the Hope this year)

First and Foremost, the site is spot on. Great job with the site and Pat's logo. I like how you used the inverted Everlast logo for Pat's name and the fire is the passion and spark Pat has in his game... The boxing glove for his headcover makes all the sense in the world. Great job Christo and P2...

We have a group called "Pat's Posse" that follow his every shot on the internet everytime he plays and it's a thrill ride...LOL

The Question I have for Pat is: Does he have a number to shoot in his mind prior to teeing it up or does he let his game play the course and go from there?

Pat,

I was late getting in on the Q&A. I was just wondering, in your opinion what is the best, cheap mexican food place in S.D. County to hit? I prefer Cotija's in P.B., but Filiberto's in glorious Encinitas makes a mean forearm (carne asada). Thanks, Puto Rick
