Double P hasn't had Internet access the past few days and asked me to give everyone a quick update.

>>> Frustrated with his 79-81 on Thursday and Friday, PP wasn't expecting much after a seven week hiatus. He played 36 holes of pain-free golf and knows that he'll get his groove back. The goal was to stay healthy last week and not to over do it. Mission accomplished.

>>> In his attempt to qualify for the US Open, PP knew it'd take a few stellar rounds of golf - but again, there wasn't enough time to work out the kinks. Even with six hours of practice at Muirfield on Saturday and a practice round at The Lakes on Sunday before Monday's 36-hole qualifier.

>>> PP headed to the Barclays Classic in Westchester, NY after Monday's US Open qualfier. He played a Tuesday practice round and plans on checking in with PatPerezGolf.com at some point on Wednesday.

>>> PP tees off at 7:00am ET on Thursday (Tee #1) and is paired up with Bernhard Langer and Fredrik Jacobson. His Friday tee time is set for 12:00pm ET (Tee #10.)
