PP talks about this year's British Open...

Log on to PGA Tour, ESPN, etc. and speak freely - but you're not going to come into our house here and insult the homeowner.

Does a personal attack on Pat include the opinion that his comments seemed "whiny"? Because they were in many fans' estimation.
And why are all Pat's backers in this thread so over-the-top angry... and anonymous? Seems only the people who are offering Pat constructive criticism to play the course not the scorecard are the ones being attacked.
This is what is wrong with you yanks....
come over to the home of golf and we play the game in ALL conditions - not just the "disneyfied" courses that your guys play on week in week out in near perfect conditions... one spot of rain and a bit of a breeze and you go crying back to uncle sam like a bunch of girls.
As we say ovver here - WISE UP!! The conditions were tough for everyone. Harrington had a bad wrist for goodness sake and did you hear him complain? US golf is based on the thump it as far as possible with the driver and short 2nd to the green time after time after time. Links golf is all about strategy, combating the elements, THINKING your way around the golf course.- Mans golf, not the girls game that you guys play.
C'mon and stop whining - the winner got round in +3 after 72 holes. I fear the real issue here is that Mr Perez simply does not have the game. Look at Tiger in when he last won the Open - he thought his way around the course beautifully... thats how to play links golf.

Other players don't say what PP says because they have class.
