See you in 2007...

A quick note for all of you who check the blog often and have been emailing PatPerezGolf.com asking what's going on.

As of now, PP is taking the rest of 2006 off to rest and heal his elbow. His bout with Tendonitis started back in April and has been nagging him ever since. In the past five months he's attempted to rest it, work it out and has seen specialists from San Diego to Scottsdale to Birmingham, AL.

Instead of working out and pushing for yet another comeback this year, PP is going to finally rest the elbow for four straight months. The goal is to begin working out later in the year and to come back in 2007 with a vengance.

Any questions in the meanwhile, please email cb@patperezgolf.com and we'll get back to you as soon as possible.

Rest In Peace, Lord Byron...

Lord Byron Nelson passed away today. He was 94 years old. On behalf of PatPerezGolf.com, we send our condolence to the Nelson family. Mr. Nelson is a huge influence on Pat and a big reason Double P took the game of golf so seriously.

There is a ton of online coverage on Lord Byron's passing, so click the links below for more info. PatPerezGolf.com just wanted to make mention of this sad occasion and to acknowledge the fact that the game of golf lost one of it's greatest ambassadors today.

R.I.P., Lord Byron.

We'll add more links to this story as they become available. Right now it's just the first AP release.
