4th place finish at The Colonial
FT. WORTH, TX - Pat Perez had the perfect Sunday afternoon at The Colonial. Five birdies. One bogey. Tied for the day's third lowest round (two others shot 65). All this after a rough back nine Sunday morning as he finished Saturday's round. With the third round suspended at dust, PP wrapped up his final ten holes Sunday morning. After a birdie on #9, Perez bogeyed #15 and #17 en route to a Saturday round of 69. After a quick turnaround, PP opened his final round with a birdie on #1, five straight pars and birdie-bogey-par for a front nine 34. The back nine, a thing a beauty - birdies on #12, #14 and #16 and six pars. PP's putter what white hot and at day's end, -14 proved to be the magic number. PP wrapped up -12 and 4th place outright.
